The exhibition Voices of Change: Inspiring Action for Justice and Peace opened in the atrium of The Hague University of Applied Sciences on April 25 2023.

This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the Art Collection of The Hague University of Applied Sciences and students of the minor Peacebuilding, Justice, and Human Rights.

For this project Johan Nieuwenhuize created a series of workshops. He invited artist Marcha van den Hurk to speak about her work and participate in a brainstorm session and graphic designer Welmer Keesmaat to coach the students in designing and creating their poster.
In collaboration with the students Nieuwenhuize designed and curated the exhibition.

The activist posters cover topics from climate change to human rights violations, and are intended to be a call for action.
